Client Symposium

ACUMEN and
Our Partners
Learn and Grow
Together

Once again our partners, both clients and suppliers, have helped ACUMEN in our never-ending quest to be a world-class company, and as a result, we have survived our first Annual ACUMEN Corporation Client Symposium. From our perspective it was a great success and attendees seem to agree. The symposium was designed to be a shared educational experience and exchange of breakthrough ideas. The ACUMEN professionals came away with a better understanding of the business challenges facing our clients, the industry leaders participating as presenters, and our ever important partners.

So many people helped make our symposium a success that we want to devote this space to thanking just a few of them. First to our industry speakers... Mike Tessieri, CPIM, CIRM, of Reynolds Metals, Marianne Tully, CPIM, of Siemens Automotive, and Mike Clark, CPIM, from APICS... your insight into the ever-changing and complex environments in the manufacturing segment were illuminating and thought-provoking.

To our partners, Frank Murphy, Vice President of Symix Software, Rod Austin, Vice President of Foresight Software, David Olson, Senior Product Manager from Progress Software, Sandra Brogie of Cognos, and Lisa Ludwig of Data General... thanks for sharing your vision of the technologies that will be important to all of us as ERP evolves.

To our financial partners Charles Plageman and Kate Delano of Signet Bank, we appreciate the well conceived ideas about business finance.

To the folks who worked with us to plan the event... Louis Ford of Murry's, Inc., Chip Potter of KSB Pumps, and Gary Turner of Wellborn Cabinets... thanks for the great advice and constant encouragement.

To our conference planning and support team Bethany Halle, PCAM, Pam Holaday, C.J. George, CPA, Renee Hooper, Mark Ownby, Hugh Polk, and Anita Smith... with all your hard work... you still made it look easy!
